Japan's SLIM lands on the Moon

Japan became the fifth country to achieve a soft landing on the Moon when its SLIM spacecraft touched down with unusual precision. The lander came to rest at an awkward angle, but it later resumed operations and demonstrated a new level of accuracy in lunar landing.
